Preface) an epitome of the popular 'Elementa metaphysicae' of the Naples professor and Enlightenment figure Antonio Genovesi (1713-1769). 8vo., pp. [4] 435 [1]. Some browning and foxing, else a good copy bound in contemporary vellum boards, label stamped and painted into spine, with further title above in contemporary MS, all edges red (binding discoloured and slightly peeled, but good).
