First edition. Translation into Spanish, by the celebrated journalist Francisco Mariano Nifo Cagigal (1719-1803), of the meditative work La conversation avec soi-même by Louis-Antoine, Marquis Caraccioli (1719-1803). Nifo had translated - and was offering from the same bookshop - fourteen further works of Caraccioli, which are listed at the end of the book. Also listed are seven titles by Nifo himself.

One volume, 15.3 cms. x 10.2 cms. in binding, octavo, pp. XXIV, 387 [5]. With 3 pp. publisher's ads. at end. Light browning, bound in a laced-case binding of vellum over boards, title inked to spine.
