Address given to the now-defunct Catalonian university of Cervera (1717-1835) by the university’s professor of rhetoric Blas Larraz, SJ (1721-1796) on 18 October 1762, not long after the installation (3 September) of a new chancellor, Francisco Fuertes y Piquer. Larraz celebrates the completion of the new Teatro Mayor of the university, whose magnificence he praises. This speech came from the press of the university printer Maria Antonia Ibarra Cous (fl. 1757-1770).
